So, it seemed to me that instead of "spending one's
time" (which doesn't really fit the Kayasanoda mindset
anyway--can I say that without having a conculture?),
"time" itself should be the verb, hence:
asuwaka
a= 1ST PERS SING
suwa= as above
ka= PRES TENSE
How do you like that approach?

same in Tunu:
tumi "period of time" > baitumi* "to spend time"
to
Kami atumi* baimele leki.
I spend.time mailing electric.
I spend time with mails.
it's also weird for Tunu people to speak of "gaining" or "wasting" time.
instead you "wrongly spend time" doing something:
Kami aluluna baitumi baimele leki.
I am.bad spending.time mailing electric.
I waste my time with mails.
* bai- tags endoactive verbs and is omitted after a- which tags the
predicate.
