Speaking of dinner: when is dinner for y'all?
I use dinner synonymously with supper for the final meal of the day.
But, my room-mate last year used it for lunch, confusing me at one
point, when he said that he had dinner with his parents, and I looked at
my watch, and it was only 2 in the afternoon or something like that! He
realized that it was a dialectal usage, tho, and clarified that he meant
"lunch".
