Auxlangs and loglangs, mostly ones not invented by list subscribers
themselves. Also artlangs not invented by list subscribers -- e.g.
Laadan, Tsolyani. (We didn't discuss Tolkien's lgs, because Tolklang
was founded first; indeed it was John Ross's postings to Tolklang
and sci.lang that led to the creation of the ur-list.) There was in
the early days little recognition of artlangs as a phenomenon and
although right from the start of ur-conlang I discovered that, as I
had always suspected but not been able to prove, I was not almost
the only artlanger out there in the world (tho I was the only one
on the list, iirc), it was some years into the history of the list
before it became clear just how widespread an activity it is.
