. "Perrin"? It looks definitely like the {e} is an /E/ to me....the {rr} makes it a "short" vowel. So don't worry about it if you ever meet me in person, i have enough trouble pronouncing my own lastname, but other people's usually come out allright. :-) -Stephen (Steg) "i'm blue, if i was green i would die..."
