We would not call them "Homo" because generic names must be specific. This, of course, violates a basic philosophical premise, but it is the rules of modern taxonomy. They could be called anything not already taken. Indeed, given the hard-line cladistics dominating modern taxonomy, there might be a movement afoot to set up a complete different set of kingdoms for each planet.
