You forgot dancing. Real men don't take dance
classes. Or art classes. Or care if their socks
match. All that's sissy stuff. At least that's what
my dad told me.

I didn't listen. I took piano (but the money for it
vanished). I took jazz balet and tap (but the money
for them was not forth coming). I taught myself to
paint from PBS instructional programs (plbbbt!). I
maid sure my socks matched and I only wear brown belts
with brown shoes! I strike matches any old way that's
convinient. And I know the difference between aqua
and teal!

I could whup my old man if I had reason to or cared.
So if that's the measure of a "real man" I guess I'm a
realer man than him inspite of it all. Every time I
hear "be a real man" or "act like a lady" for that
matter, I just wanna hurl.

Adam the straight guy who makes his own choices thank
you kindly
