LET THE HAMMER FALL:

In Silindion:
   níssa méni i sserásci

   ni-ssa    men-i i-lenition         terasci
  give-that  fall-subj  the-lenition  hammer

níssa is now thought of as an inseperable injunctive (or optative, i'm not sure...
any help in nomenclature?), tho at one time, it was ní "give" (the imperative
of the verb néllë) + tá "that"
