Ryan Air and similar companies have incredibly
cheap flights all over Europe these days.  One
guy at the Tolkien linguistic conference in
Stockholm last summer had flown(*) from Belgium
for 30 Euro *cents* -- for the actual ticket,
the airport fees etc. cost more.  My mother also
flew to Germany this easter at an incredibly low
price.  The longer before the trip you book your
ticket the cheaper it gets.  In fact train tickets
within the same country are usually a lot more
expensive.
