Okay, I've figured it out. Normally, inanimate objects are incorporated
into Class I Mental Action verbs, which "learn" is one of, while animate
objects are simply in absolutive (with the subject in ergative). Now, I
decided that verbal objects will be handled the same way, so:
Fapyasúnna tika púpisalav pli taswidansagá
Fa-pyasún-na tika p-úpisala-v pli ta-swidan-sagá
Past-learn-3SIrr I.nom G7-Uppsala-LOC SCM language.of-Sweden-speak
Essentially like saying "I learned how to Swedish-talk in Uppsala"
