Note too that the glossary doesn't necessarily have to give _the_ one meaning appropriate to the translation. For example, if the translation involved the Kerno word "kenams", the next person in line would get: "kenams -i- m., dry gnawed bone, bone sucked dry of marrow, Christmas feast, dice, knucklebone, cobblestone." It would then be up to the translator to sort out which would be most appropriate. The job of a real translator!
