The problem with this model is that in the world of the Movari,
there is no trace of "real" present, past, or future civilization (nor
do I want them to interact with the "real" Earth -- it's a closed
world, except for my own short research expeditions there <g>). Also,
there seem to be no landforms like those of present or past Earth on
their world.
One way that I might be able to work around it is this: the
Movari and their related history might exist in a distantly future Earth
(say, 500-600 million years from now). Surely by then the geography and
biology of Earth would have changed far enough and unpredictably enough
that I could have my way with them. :)
That leaves me back with the same problem, though, at least wrt
star names: 500-600 million years from now, the constellations and
positions of stars probably will have changed enough to make them
unrecognizable. Oh well. Bottom line is that I'll probably have to do
more research into the Movari (and now, Kusthu") culture to properly
place them in the cosmos.
Later,
Adam
