Remember, however, that the trolls are essentially dumbed down by moving into
the hotter climate, where their brains don't work as efficiently. Pratchett
mentions this in "Guards, Guards!", where the Troll main character is very
close to solving the problems of reality while nearly freezing to death in an
ice cellar.
