I like thr trolls of Pratchett's Discworld series, silicon beings
(basically thinking rocks, probably originating from a Creator wanting to
cut corners when creating life ;)) ) who are not especially hostile (at
least no more than any other species) but tend not to take into account
organic life in their frame of reference :)) . They're not evil, just
oblivious :))) . And they're usually not very smart, their semi-conductive
brains being by necessity not very efficient :) .

You need a straight mind to invent a twisted conlang.
