Hi!
Good discussion about pronouns. I'm almost starting to change
the system of Tyl-Sjok, because of this, but it has to be thought
about.
Currently I have:
jo - I, we
je - you
ja - he, she, it
But I thought about using the whole vowel space to express mixtures.
To start with, raise two of the vowels above:
ju - I, we (exclusive)
ji > i - you (exclusive)
And now, use the vowels in between to express inclusion:
jo (between ja and ju) : we: speaker and the other
je (between ja and ji) : you: listener and the other
jy (between ji and ju) : we: speaker and the listener
jw (in between all) : we: speaker, listener and the other
Cool, that'd be seven pronouns for seven vowels. :-) Would be nice for
jokes by using diphthongs!
(ji would be pronounced i instead, but maybe irregularly still
written ji, I don't know)
