I witness what Christophe writess (Salut Christophe :-). It was scary. The
few very hot places I visited in the world were either more humid and less
hot or hotter but less humid, both making the heat more bearable than this
time. My wife comes from a hot desert but she couldn't stand that kind of
heat. And France ignores air-condition. The Tour was a wee before the wave
of heat.

That's a temperature you shoot for when cooking meat, not a temperature
for outside air. :)
Wasn't part of the Tour going on during this heat wave??
