I happen to avidly admire the coins of San Marino. They are minted in Italy and are mainly circulated in the tourist trade and amongst numismatic collectors. Some of their "neatest" coins are literally small works of art that look like lostwax "repros" of ancient-to-medieval coinage and usually each year that the coins are minted they have a theme (i.e. "Technology", "Human Rights", "Art", "Music", etc.). I have not obtained any San Marino coins yet :( czHANg
