hi !
this reminds me to something similar ive just prepared:

conversational interjections
============================
IMHO a good conlang should offer an efficient set of conversational interjections.
heres what ive collected so far:

"yes" means: "i agree to your message."
"no" means: "i disagree to your message."
"hmm" means: "i think about your message, want to think about it, wait, answer is coming."
"ahh" means: "i got the message (maybe no insight yet)."
"i see" means: "i understand the message."
"oh" means: "im surprised about your message."
"ok ?" means: "you understood ?/you agree ?" "ok" is troublesome because it mixes
up a)agreement b)insight
end of my message (=fullstop) means: "im awaiting your answer now."
end of conversation: this one is useful. sometimes we want to end a conversation
but wont leave so we cant use "bye" because it implies a leave.

the funny thing is:
when im talking to someone im used to say "end of conversation"
in a polite manner when i think its time for the end, rather than "ok"
and most people grin at me. :-)

regards,
c.s.

OCJ> theme/rheme

OCJ> Marker A - Introduces a piece of text in which the
OCJ> first sentence is entirely rheme and is a new topic of
OCJ> conversation entirelly, such as the 'ok' at the
OCJ> beginning of this text :)

OCJ> Marker B - Marks the end of the previous theme and
OCJ> states that the following rheme will also be a new
OCJ> topic of conversation.

OCJ> Marker C - Comparative rheme - Introduces a new idea
OCJ> with rheme that contrasts with the previous theme and
OCJ> rheme. like english 'now on the other hand...'

OCJ> Marker D - Complentative rheme - Introduces more
OCJ> rheme, yet still on the same topic of conversation as
OCJ> the previous theme. Like english 'furthermore,
OCJ> moreover'

OCJ> Marker E - Marks the end of ttheme and rheme based on
OCJ> that topic of conversation. English equivalent 'full
OCJ> stop.' or 'period' or 'kaput.'

OCJ> Note that these terms arn't exclusively related to
OCJ> theme/rheme but also to the less terminological 'topic
OCJ> of conversation' idea.
