Hallo!
Just tossing my coins into the melee:
The name "Albic" is derived from _Alba_, the common gender singular form
of the self-designation of the speakers of Old Albic. The Old Albic
name of Old Albic is _Elbirin_ (< *alb-irin) `Elvish' for the language
as a whole and _Tañ Tach_ `proper tongue' for the classical literary
language as opposed to the vernacular dialects.
"Pictic" is a scholarly formation derived from Latin _Picti_.
The meaning of the name "Germanech" ought to be clear: it is Germanech
and means `of Germany', `pertaining to Germany'.
Greetings,
Jörg.
