I recently did a fair bit of work on similar aspects of Sturnan's grammar. Most gerunds relating to the perspective of the actor end it -ait. Different particles indicate different usages. So if you want to say that you are eating cookies (I'm single-minded today), you could emphasize that it's currently ongoing by saying: ia hedait ri thathani kardem. state eat-gerund toward cookies have-1s.pres I'm trying to come up with a reasonable meaning for a verb "kthuluftagn-".
