Hm, here we call him 'British Prime Minister Tony Blair' (with the British
Prime Minister bit being a description, not a title), and afterwards he
becomes 'Blair'. Howard would generally be 'John Howard' on the first
reference and 'Howard' afterwards (Howard being our own Prime Minister).
BTW... do other people pronounce Prime Minister as one word (e.g.
/prai"mIn@st@/ rather than /praim mIn@st@/), or is that just an
Australianism?
Tristan.
