well, in london, as in much of the non-west country
uk, [sAIdV] is what teenagers drink before they
graduate onto beer. altho the number of alcopops now
available may have ousted the likes of white
lightning, lightbulb ( guess what shape the bottle is
) and k's in favour of bacardi breezers and smirnoff
ices
but there is of course still west country [zOId@r\] (
was this what you were referring to john ? not
entirely sure as your diphthong's different from mine
and i've always seen the stereotypical west country
accent as heavily rhotic ). but i'm afraid i'm going
to be a traitor to my country and prefer /sidR/ to
scrumpy
