Indeed. About all I missed from Fellowship was Tom Bombadil and the
Barrow-Wights. Of course, I knew long before there were even spoilers
available that there was no way Tom was going to show up in the film;
the whole episode just drops right out way too neatly, and they
obviously had to cut a lot to squeeze it into single-feature length.
But I still missed it.
Well, I also thought the way Gandalf's battles with Saruman were staged
was a bit silly, and changing his escape to a last-minute-rescue was
just stretching credibility to no real purpose.

Eh, I thought we saw just enough of the ents to keep them interesting.
Faramir was the only thing that really bothered me about TT. It was
such a dramatic change, too.
