Also IMO while the oher changes are defensible, I really don't see the point of most of them. Tolkien, with all his talk and description, is IMO very cinematographic, apart from a few real difficult scenes such as the Council of Elrond (which was awful in FR) and entrance into Edoras (which I liked a lot, except for the fact that the barn on top of the hill was a bit *too* much like the Lee picture, and it's certainly not 'lihte se leoma / ofer landa fela').
