Well, gramatically, it's English; so it's a Germanic language of the Indo-European family. I think this is called a relex (?), and is a fairly common thing to do early in one's conlanging career. One of my early (written) nonglossolalic conlangs (from about 4th grade) consisted largely of replacing S by F, using some Greek and Cyrillic letters and putting umlauts on random vowels. Pretty lame! Here's is the textual corpus, consisting of a veritable Rosetta Stone (fancy way of saying the same thing is written in three different (languages"!): 1. This is page 9 2. Indiza ist pagê nien. 3. Distül ist pagê nien. 1. And it is! 2. Nasod ist! 3. Und ift ist! At least there's some confiftenciê! Another example, of a more glossolalic bent: 1. 2 parts Hydrogen 1 part oxygen, That is water. 2. Schunala Glaeoombala Nimblæ Nu 3. Ore la u dear Helemna Wiæhisseh SieSo Lexically, there seems to be some obvious transformations of English words [dee = the, which happens in some English dialects as well]. Some words sound vaguely Scandinavian [isk, hollm, sagon]. However, some defy obvious connections [unawba, anaya - both of which I like the sound of].

It has some interesting extra bits that are not typical of Enlgish, like the gramaticalisation of punctuation ["." = -p], which is actually pretty clever. What are your thoughts? You came up with it after all!
