It an English relex. The word |ekwih| is interesting. It looks like a case of hyper-centumism or something -- from Armenain /eSt@/, of course. Is |deriy| related to Eng "derive"? The word |eeth| seems cognate with Eng "earth". |dee| is disconcertingly close to Eng "the". |bee'eenk| cogn "being"? |enin| cogn "in"? You have word-final |p|s in the source at every (.) in the translation, and only in those locations. Maybe a clause-final realis clitic? Argh. Germanic, but not closely related to anything Germanic that I'm fluent in. Derived from Gothic, perhaps? I'm having a hard time parsing it without an interlinear. There are too many possible faux amis among your lexicon, or maybe that's the results of my naturally Greenbergian brain? Maybe it's a future form of English, mangled by German, Russian, French and Alien speakers? The subject matter is distinctly non sci-fi, however. Paul
