Jeff, Christophe, Jesse, Thanks for the input, although I guess my conlang has not reached any extremely sophisticated level of complexity where I'd be stumped without using notes. I try to master the vocabulary I've built for the system, so that I can pull it anytime so as to create more in these precious hrs on the list. Note, also, that I'm very much struggling with all these concepts everyone flings about regarding phonemes, etc. In that way, as I'm still trying to grasp those concepts (or parts), I avoid using them now because I'm not sure I've understood everything yet...
