Alright, you asked for it. Some insults in Drasel=E9q, ranging from joke to obscenity: Gian nerres oai thoqduth! 2sPSS mother.GEN public_knowledge hundred+year This one is untranslatable, but it plays a bit with the meaning of _=F3aiduth_, the 'year of public knowledge', which is the time between the fifteen and sixteen years of a girl, when she's supposed to meet a lot of men and learn how to please them at all levels (plus she has to teach them the other way round). This is decent and proper at this time, but not afterwards... In English you could translate it as 'Everyone knows your mother' (in the biblical sense), but it has a further connotation of lack of maturity. You can change _nerr_ 'mother' to _k=ECrrag_ 'wife' or _lalet_ 'sister' (actually 'sibling') if you want to. Freth uh=FAt, freth loikas! no things_on_display no storage 'Nothing for sale, and nothing on storage!' This one is for women who weren't endowed by nature, either on the front or the back part of their bodies. Measmevnien t=F9t catch_fish.OBJ worm 'A worm [used] for catching fish' This is general purpose. Especially applied to young boys that are clumsy, useless, or too lazy, and hang around bothering people. The worm in question is dead or barely moves and doesn't do anything by itself... Plus it's thin, stupid and dirty! Qga=F3t i sgeun lead * anvil 'Lead-made anvil' This is more or less like 'poor idiot' in English. _Sgeun_ alone is figuratively someone that fate has mistreated over and over; but being 'made of lead' makes you think of someone that is too comfortable being sorry of themselves that they don't bother to try and solve it. Lamp a giad, san pos=F3nv! climb VOC 2s 1sPSS column.ACC 'Hey you, climb up my column!' This one's very rude, shouted to women in the street. You can imagine what it means.

And what use! Well, it's not like the dream of an IAL-maker, but indeed it's useful. :)

It's a good idea. To make people interested by using rude words (more or less like the proverbial wall sign that reads 'SEX!' and then in smaller type, 'Now that I've got your attention...'). Then you can throw in some conculture to explain some curious insults, and the next thing you know, they are lost without Rinya. ;) --Pablo Flores http://draseleq.conlang.org/pablo-david/
