In French, we say: "Des goûts et des couleurs on ne discute pas."
Litterally: "you don't discuss about tastes and colours."
But usually the saying is shortened to "Les goûts et les couleurs..." followed
by a pause or a whisper :) .
I have to think of a Narbonósc version...
