The problem probably is, that #99 may well arrive much sooner than 1200
Friday. (I'm not accustomed to working in UTC) What I have noticed is that
quite frequently, this past week at least, the list tends to get blocked
around 5-6 PM EST--- just about the time I assume JC leaves work and can no
longer be, or wants to be, or ought to be, on top of things. Something
about a Life.....
Frankly (at 7PM EST) I'm surprised we got unblocked today, but thanks
be...!! I had actually been reduced to reading spams.........Interestingly,
if we are blocked at 99 msgs., why did I only receive 60 or so at one shot??

No no no. That way lies Chaos. The listserv is doing IMO a very good job,
plus maintaining the extensive and easily searchable archive.
