Funny that you should mention this. I'm thinking of taking
Ancient Greek next term at uni. I'm already taking Linguistics
and The History of the Nordic Languages, but the pace is still
too slow for me, so I need something to really dig into. As it
is now, I hardly have to do any serious studying at all.
And word is that Ancient Greek is the heaviest course of them all.
The main reason for taking it, though, is of course that it
seems such a cool language.
The point of this mail, though, is that my parents somehow oppose
this. I'm almost 23 and live by myself, but still. They want me to
take something useful instead. And they won't settle with the fact
that I'm going back to economics after next term. Oh well. ;)
