They're 'cases' and they're perfectly normal. Most [all?] of the languages of Europe had them originally (even English!) although many have since discarded them. As for conlangs, I know there's some around like that, as at least mine does: [Hadwan] [IPA] [rough English] [case] jímon /'ZI.mUn/ 'to a tree' Accusative jimóz /ZI.'mUdz/ 'from a tree' Ablative jimóso /ZI.'mU.SU/ 'of a tree' Genitive jimaí /ZI.'mAI/ 'at a tree' Locative *Muke! -- http://www.southern.edu/~alrivera/
