With place names, there's always the question whether to translate words
like "new" or "north" in "New Hampshire" or "North Dakota". I generally
do translate meaningful words in place names when translating into
Minza, but not personal names. An exception is names of Pokémon,
following the precedent of the English versions of the games (which
often have names translated from Japanese). E.g., "Linoone" is
"Massuguma" in Japanese, from "massugu" (straight) and "anaguma"
(badger). The English name is from "line" and probably "raccoon". The
Minza name is "Sulirdzu", from a direct translation of the Japanese name.
