Wow, that's a lot to pack into the verb! Could you give an example?

It depends on the class of the particular verb. In this case it has an
instrumental function (to be exact: such an object of "purpose" has to do w=
ith
the perceived usefulness of the subject in the mind of the speaker), for
other classes it assumes various other roles. But not too many; the third
object is not very common in Aroven -- it's pretty useful for those words
which need an extra attaching-point, though, if the nature of that attachin=
g
point is inconvenient to describe externally, that is, explicitly (meaning =
you
have to include an explanation of the link rather than simply tacking on
an -em).
