the only french that's correct is mine. Christophe's /lE/ for |lait| is
another northman's blunder--after civilizing one too many island and
plundering our beautiful oc homeland. Christian's /E/ for <et> is sheer
academoniac imperialism. and finally i won't meddle with swiss, belgian,
canadian and african domestic linguistic policy: they're too far away from
"Orleans, Beaugency, Notre-Dame de Clery(?), Vendome (bis)."
