I have had thissitting aroundwhile trying to switch e-mail addresses, buut I
am having a lot of trouble with that, so I am going aheadand posting:
for Rihana-ye. * indicates new word

1. My father bequeathed mean education
Seba-ye dakoba seba-de wivajoha *wiwonoko.
Me-of father me-to(lower) education (past)die(naturally) give

2. He also left me a pittance.
Veba gefe seba-de fugedi lila wiwonoko.
He also me-to (lower) very small gold/money (Past)die naturally give.

3. Seba-ye feba seba-ye *tinaha-fe *wihevubo
    Me-of brother me-of lordland-s (past)notrightlytook.
NOTE: There already existed a word for steal.  This a is a slight variant.

4. Seba *vejofabasa-me no-bi
    I horsehouse-in sleep-must

5. My brother values the horses more than me.
Seba-ye feba vejofa-fe seba-gete givajo.
Me-of brother  horse-pl. me-moreabove loves.
Note: seba-gete vejofa-fe givajo would probably be better word order.

6. Technically, humans aren't worth anything, but a horse is worth a good
deal.
*Vujejoha-je, ba-fe he vela-i, sepe vejofa-fe fugefu fugefi vela-i.
Rightly-using-by man-pl. not valuable (salable) but horses very greatly
valuable (saleable).
NOTE: This would not make sense in Rihana as it is a slave-owning culture.
People can be worth quite a lot.

7. Perhaps I'll run away with his prized stallion.
*Jehe seba veba-ye fugefu givajo-si vejobafa-fe kevejo-vi.
By/not I him-of very greatly love-d stallion-with flee-will.
NOTE: vejobafa isan oldfashioned word.  The modern equivalent
should be bivejofa. In modern Rihana-ye, vejobafa would mean "travel-monkey."
But since I had the word in my vocabulary already I used the old word.

8. I lack courage, though, or constance (constancy?), so I will relinquish my
plans.
Sepe seba he bi, *fehe *heveva-i, se kere seba-ye *joveha-fe *reko-vi.
But I not brave, withnot notmovemind-adj., thisfrom me-of do-later-thing-pl.
outgive-will.

9. I shall continue to suffer under my brother's culpable disinterest.
Seba seba-ye feba-ye fugehevi *hetechoja-ne vewa-le *nuhuvajo-vi.

10. I'm so depressed.
