Well, at my church we always say:
Our Father Who art in heave
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and Forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen
That's how I have always said it. I would get thrown if i attended a
church that said it in more contemporary language.
In mass, we stop after "but deliver us from evil". Thats where the priest
says a small separate prayer, and then after he is done we say: "For the
kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever
Amen". By ourselves we never say that part.
