This one is ambiguous between "Teeli's father" and "the woman's father."
Since the subject of the embedded clause is different from the subject
of the main clause the clause is marked with _a=_.

    qakkalwe ehati netikna wapea suu
    0-    qa"- kalwe  e=  0- hati  ne- tikna      wa- pea suu
    3>3'- CBA- bite:L SS= 3- sharp 3-  teeth:COLL 1-  leg dog

This one is more accurately translated as: "The dog bit my leg with its
sharp teeth." The qa"- prefix (the " indicates obligatory gemination of
a following stop) is the causative/benefactive/applicative prefix; it
introduces "sharp teeth" (an instrument) as another object. Again, the
stative predicate "be sharp" is treated as a dependent clause on
"teeth". Since the subject of this dependent clause is the same as the
head noun, the dependent clause receives the same subject clitic.
