    OH NO!!!  Something similar happened to me a few days ago.  For my pidgin
experiment I was creating a wordlist (mainly Swadesh with some add-ons) on
the computer, but I was just doing it on a word-processing program (I don't
have Excel, or anything like that).  So, creating a side-by-side
English-Language X, Language-X-English list was very hard; I had to go in
there and hit "tab" a bunch of times, write out the thing, press the down
arrow NOT return to get to the next line, hit tab again, etc.  And then,
right when I had gotten to the end, my program totally inexplicably just
crashed!  It never does that!  I lost everything.  I was soooooooooooooooo
pissed off!  I couldn't even look about or think about for another day, even
though it had to be finished in two.  Oh well.  It's done now.  Vive la
technologie!
