I learn something new on this list all the time. I had no idea that this was the case with prepositional phrases in Latin, and I took it in both high school and in college --all the way through Vergil, plus a course in Medieval Latin. I really do begin to wonder what they *didn't* neglect to teach me in school. <sigh> Isidora
