In German? Really? We have that expression in Dutch, too (just without the "über den Weg"-part): Ik vertrouw hem voor geen meter. I don't trust him for a meter. "voor geen centimeter" means I trust him even less :)

That one, too: Dat klopt voor geen meter. It's not correct for a meter. René
