Cyrillic is essentially Greek disguised as Latin. I remember the first time
I tried to write Arabic. I erroneously wrote all the letters in their
isolated (non-connected) form!

Shahrzad = [S{hr"zQ:d] (using X-Sampa here, and I still dislike using { for
ae-ligature)
Qatar = ["qAtAr] (Standard Arabic), ["G\Vt@r] (Gulf Spoken Arabic)
