The same seems to be the case with Swedish. Another reasonably alive survival is _Petri_ as genitive of _Petrus_ (the apostle - "Peter" as name of ordinary folks is _Peter_). Popularly, the guy's been known as _Sankte Pär_, roughly "Saint Pete", which most definitely is _Sankte Pärs_ in the genitive! Andreas
