Ausgezeichnet!! Thanks Jeff. I just tried this and not only does it work,
it at least gives the appearance of parsing a rootless form, thus:
The wizard is gray
\t i guronar mith delivas
\m i cur =ron -nar mith de- el- -iv -as
\g the skill =aug -one.who gray color- assertive- -hab -pres
\p DET N =SUFF -AGTV N ADJ- MOOD- -ASP -TENSE
\f the wizard gray is
That solves that problem. Now about them null morphemes?
