I'd like to try some of these for Tirehlat. It needs the exercise.

"Gratitude" is going to need a derivational affix of some kind. I have a
word "grateful" (ziki), but I haven't worked out all the details of verbal
morphology....

For "sign", probably the best translation would be "geusa" (translated
"mark").

"Noble" ... I'll probably need to borrow directly from Tilya.

I don't suppose "soul" is meant in any sort of metaphysical sense. I
suppose that something like "character" or "personality" is meant.

And what to use for the obligatory evidential ... ? Inferential? Hearsay?

ziki    -sh   padui-zia          -z    geusa o   nordi zhahr
grateful-ness seem -INFER:NONPAST-IMPF mark  GEN noble person
"Gratefulness is seeming to be a mark of a noble person."
