I had been under the impression that "Kernu" is just an older version of the same language. Something similar would have been the case if I had given Janko both Vozgian and Vozgian :))) .

Oh yes, it's very common over here. Some people really overuse it: "Dus jíj beweert, dat ík dat níet meer dan één keer had moeten doen? Wel, in dát geval, val dóód!" It is also a helpful means to distinguish the numeral from the indefinite article: "één" vs. "een". That makes sence, because although the two are spelled the same, their pronunciation is different: [e:n] vs. [@n]. Ján ===== "Originality is the art of concealing your source." - Franklin P.
