I'm skeptical of Evolution SOLELY by means of Natural Selection,
believing there's some other factor. And as I understand it, that's the
view taken by most of those "anti-evolution" biologists. It's not
evolution they're protesting, it's Darwin's view of it.
And at any rate, until something better comes along, Darwinistic
evolution is still our best explanation for how life came to be the way
it is. And public education tends to simplify anyways. The Civil War
was about slavery, the Revolutionary War was about British tyranny,
George Washington was perfect and honest. Abraham Lincoln wanted to
free the slaves. So, it's no surprise that schools don't talk about
other possible explanations for the fossil record.
