You write one line of text every 16mm?
I find 8-10 mm being about ideal. Above that, it starts to look faintly
ridiculous, and wastes so much paper, below it'll begin to be hard to read.
When taking notes, I usually use 5mm squared paper, writing on every second
row - ascenders and descenders will penetrate into the "empty" lines. Writing
on every row works, but decreases writing speed, and makes it a pain to read
longer pieces. Typically found at the bottom of a page where I wanted to get
all of a proof or definition onto the same page!
