I take your point - I suppose that Type 1s are safer in this respect?

Actually, I've gone down the many-tiny-gifs route myself for my Rahha pag=
es
(in preparation, not available yet). I wrote a small program which genera=
tes
the HTML and IMG tags required to display the text in the Rahha script; I
just type in the text in the Latin transcription, click the button and th=
e
HTML is all done for me. The only problem, of course, is that although th=
e
gifs are tiny and therefore download really quickly, the page HTML itself
quickly becomes vast, resulting in slow downloads. Oh well.
