Yivríndil is spoken by a non-human race called the Yivríndi, in
the fantasy world of Aratasa. The Yivríndi have long lifetimes (~400
yrs) so their language changes slowly, and "Modern Yivríndil" has been
relatively stable for about 2000 years in the con-timeline. The Yivríndi
live on the western half of the largest continent in Aratasa, and their
nation is loosely bounded by the Kalasi Nessil mountains in the east, the
Vanessura ocean in the west, Vanor Anaril river in the north, and Kalasi
Tingrisil mountains in the south. They have an advanced pre-industrial
society with high literacy, rich literary culture, advanced construction
techniques, and advanced mathematical knowledge about on par or a
little ahead of the ancient Romans. However, they lack the printing
press, gunpowder, and other such more recent advancements.
