Romanian has a high central vowel too. A WITH BREVE is the mid vowel, I WITH CIRCUMFLEX the high one (but it's written A WITH CIRCUMFLEX in words derived from "Roma"). -- John Cowan cowan@ccil.org e'osai ko sarji la lojban.
